Crocodiles of the World is open seven days a week from 10am to 5pm all year round including Bank Holidays. Book tickets online and enjoy your day gazing at these beautiful reptiles. You can even be a keeper for a day to get up close with your new crocodilian friends.
Millets Farm Centre has something for everyone including a farm shop, garden centre, cafe, craft gallery and restaurants. Open every day, you’ll find plenty of animals including pigs, Alpacas and Rheas, south american ground birds. There’s a great kids play area and brilliant cafe with home-cooked food.
Spend a day getting creative at one of the best craft studios around. There’s pottery to paint as well as getting arty with mosaics. There’s also fab Decopatch, the multicoloured paper craft technique that works on just about everything. Open all week you’ll also find holiday workshops for all.
This is a simple nine hole course which is a great intro to the game for little ones. Open during the summer (when the duty hut is open), there are also adventure play areas in the same park including a wet play area, cricket wicket, bowling greens and football pitches.
This unique 100ft tower is Faringdon’s icon and the last major folly to be built in England It sits on Folly Hill, within a lovely four acre, circular woodland of splendid pine and broadleaf trees, some more than 200 years old. There are also many quirky sculptures to seek out.
