Relish at Cheltenham Literature Festival

One of our very first Rockers, Relish, who’ve been with us through thick and thin, has grown like topsy over the last couple of years. So we thought we’d share their story.

Relish HQ is based in Cirencester’s idyllic high street; this is where all food production and culinary magic is made! Now at the fresh age of 25, Relish has transformed into a vast wedding and corporate event company, specialising in green field sites where in spite of zero infrastructure they can still serve a 600 seater restaurant and a 1200 cover VIP lounge! Relish has outstanding chefs who use the finest ingredients sourced from local farmers and suppliers, and experienced event organisers who know how to put on a  really cracking celebration!

They are currently approaching one of the biggest local events of the year –  Cheltenham Literature Festival which is just around the corner. As a local festival, Relish are hosting some of the main events within Montpellier Gardens and working with some big names within the culinary world!

This October, Relish are excited to be working with a variety of talent within the Spiegeltent, a unique venue in the heart of Montpellier Gardens, including Sabrina Ghayour for a one of a kind supper club, Deliciously Ella and Joe Wicks to kick start the day and wake up healthier, don’t take the biscuit… its Nadiya Hussain sharing her afternoon tea recipes , Marcus Wareing relaxing over a delicious Sunday lunch and a large glass of vino and finally Italy comes to Cheltenham with Antonio Carluccio! The Writers Room and VIP lounge next to the Spiegeltent, is where the 250 big names will be putting their feet up and having a chance to taste some delicious food themselves prepared by the Relish team.

New for 2016 is The Huddle, located adjacent to Feast this venue provides an intimate and engaging space to relax with friends over a drink, and be entertained by a range of pop-up performances from poetry to music. Relish will also be hosting the BITE Café on Imperial Square, which will be offering a host of scrumptious snacks and treats, suitable for all the family to eat in or take away.

Robert Goves, Director & Chef at Relish told us ‘I am a huge fan of the festival, it’s a fabulous location in a lovely old town. I have spent time there as a youngster and I love doing festivals with the town as the backdrop and, of course, serving up delicious food for local customers just down the road from our base.’
