How Old Is Jerry Jones Of The Dallas Cowboys

So, you're wondering, "How old is Jerry Jones of the Dallas Cowboys?" Well, buckle up, 'cause we're about to dive into a world of football, billionaires, and a touch of the mysterious. You might want to grab a snack, 'cause this story's got more twists than a Texas two-step.

Let's Start at the Beginning

Jerry Jones was born on October 13, 1942, in Los Angeles, California. That's right, folks! Our beloved Cowboys' owner is a West Coast native. But don't you dare call him a 49ers fan. He's been a Cowboy at heart since he bought the team in 1989.

Now, you might be thinking, "That makes him... what, 80-something?" Well, hold onto your Stetsons, 'cause here's where things get interesting.

Age is Just a Number, Right?

You see, Jerry's not your average 80-year-old. He's got more energy than a room full of cheerleaders on game day. He's been known to outwork coaches half his age, and he's still calling the shots at Cowboys' practices. Talk about a hands-on owner!

But here's where it gets crazy. Some folks say Jerry's found the fountain of youth right there in Dallas. They swear he's been drinking from it ever since he bought the team. Why else would he still be going strong after all these years?

Surprising Fact: Jerry's a College Dropout!

That's right! Our billionaire boss never finished college. He played football at the University of Arkansas, but he didn't graduate. He dropped out to play in the NFL for the Atlanta Falcons. Talk about a risk-payer!

But here's the kicker: he went on to make a fortune in oil and gas before buying the Cowboys. So, who's laughing now, college degree?

Jerry's Love for the Game

Now, you might be wondering, "How does age factor into all this?" Well, it doesn't, really. Not to Jerry, anyway. He's been known to say, "I'm not going to retire. I'm going to die." Now that's dedication!

You see, Jerry's not just the owner of the Dallas Cowboys. He's a fan, through and through. He bleeds that star on his jersey. And as long as he's got breath in his body, he's going to do everything he can to make that team the best it can be.

Jerry's Record-Breaking Deal

Speaking of making things the best they can be, did you know Jerry signed the most lucrative deal in sports history? In 2021, he agreed to a 30-year, $10 billion extension with Fox, CBS, and NBC. That's right, folks! Billion, with a 'B'.

So, How Old is Jerry Jones?

Well, officially, he's 80 years old. But if you ask me, he's ageless. He's like that fine Texas whiskey, just getting better with time. He's a living legend, a football icon, and a true Texan original.

And who knows? Maybe one day, they'll name a stadium after him. Or maybe they already have. I mean, have you seen that place? It's a palace! But that's a story for another time.

So, there you have it, folks. The tale of Jerry Jones, the eternal Cowboy. Now, if you'll excuse me, I've got to go find out what year it is. I think I might have lost track.
