How Old Was Sadie Sink When She Started Stranger Things

So, you're curious about Sadie Sink's age when she started her Stranger Things journey, huh? Well, grab a seat, let's dive in like we're about to binge-watch our favorite show.

Sadie Sink: A Teenage Sensation

First things first, Sadie Sink, our beloved Max Mayfield, was just a teenager when she joined the Stranger Things crew. Now, imagine you're at a high school party (yes, we're going there), and suddenly, this fresh face walks in, steals the show, and becomes the life of the party. That's pretty much what happened when Sadie joined the cast.

From Broadway to Hawkins

Before she was saving Hawkins from the Upside Down, Sadie was already making waves on Broadway. She was just 13 when she played the young version of Laura Wingfield in "The Glass Menagerie". So, when she auditioned for Stranger Things, she was already a seasoned performer, but still, a teenager.

Now, you might be thinking, "Okay, but how old was she when she started Stranger Things?" Alright, let's get to the point. When Sadie was cast as Max in season two, she was 14 years old. Yes, you heard it right. She was just a year older than the characters she was playing alongside, like Millie Bobby Brown's Eleven.

From New Kid to Fan Favorite

Sadie might have been the new kid on the block, but she sure knew how to make an entrance. Her character, Max, brought a fresh dynamic to the show, and fans instantly fell in love with her. It's like when the new kid at school becomes the most popular person in class, all in a matter of episodes.
