So, there I was, binge-watching The Lazarus Project on Netflix, when suddenly, the screen went black, and up popped those dreaded words: "The End." I mean, come on! Just when things were getting interesting. I sat there, staring at my TV, feeling like I'd been left hanging on a cliff, and not the fun, adrenaline-pumping kind. I'm sure you've been there, right? That moment when you realize your favorite show might not be coming back, and you're left with a void in your life, wondering what to do with your Tuesday nights.
Now, I know what you're thinking. "But, The Lazarus Project was just renewed for a third season!" Yeah, yeah, I know. But hear me out. I've been down this road before. Remember when they said Game of Thrones would never end? And look what happened there. So, I decided to do some digging, because let's face it, we all need a little closure, right?
So, Is There A Season 3 Of The Lazarus Project?
Alright, let's tackle this question head-on. As of now, Netflix hasn't officially announced a season three. I know, I know, it's like they're playing hard to get. But hold your horses, because this isn't a definitive 'no.' Remember, these streaming giants like to keep us on our toes.
Must Read
Now, let's talk about the elephant in the room. The show's ratings. According to IMDb, The Lazarus Project has a solid 7.8/10 rating. Not bad, right? But it's not exactly Breaking Bad levels either. So, while the show's doing alright, it's not exactly breaking any records. But hey, that doesn't mean Netflix won't give it another chance, right?
But What About The Cast?
You might be wondering, "What about the cast? Surely, they must know something!" Well, here's where things get a bit tricky. While some cast members have hinted at their desire to return, no one's come out and said, "Yep, we're definitely doing another season!" Now, this could mean a few things. Maybe they're under strict NDAs (non-disclosure agreements), or maybe they're just as much in the dark as we are. Who knows?

But here's something interesting. The show's creator, Jake Schreier, has been pretty quiet about the whole thing. No cryptic tweets, no mysterious Instagram posts. Nothing. Now, this could mean he's just playing it cool, or it could mean he's not sure what's happening either. Either way, it's all very hush-hush, which, let's face it, is just making us more curious.
So, What Now?
Alright, so we've established that there's no official word on a season three. But that doesn't mean we should give up hope, right? After all, stranger things have happened (pun intended). So, what can we do in the meantime? Well, for starters, we could re-watch the entire series. You know, for 'research' purposes. Or we could start a petition. I mean, it can't hurt, right?

But seriously, folks, all we can do is wait. Wait and hope that Netflix sees the potential in The Lazarus Project and gives it another chance. Because let's face it, we deserve closure. We deserve to know what happens next. And most importantly, we deserve to know if Dr. Eldon Chance finally gets his act together.
So, there you have it. The state of The Lazarus Project as of now. It's not much, I know, but at least we're all in this together. And who knows? Maybe by the time you finish reading this, Netflix will have made an announcement. A guy can dream, can't he?
Until then, keep your fingers crossed, and remember: never underestimate the power of a good binge-watch. It might just change your life. Or at least give you something to talk about at the water cooler.
